And letting Go

Hi Friends, What did you implement last week? Here in Florida, the children are on summer break. Sleeping in. Being carefree. No schedules. I was reminded 3 times today of the importance of letting go.There is so much to let go off. Let’s explore some more things together. You know, letting go can feel good. As in letting go of old junk, old clothes, old cars, old phones, old papers, old kitchen gadgets...even body weight or an old hair style. It feels good. It's a lot harder to let go of stubborn things like:

  • wanting to be perfect

  • waiting for the right time

  • waiting for Mr. or Mrs. Perfect

  • the fear of aging

  • the fear of looking silly

  • old beliefs, like I'm not good enough

  • the need for validation

  • the need for our kids to not mess up

  • the need for a perfect house

  • the need for all to agree

  • the fear of failure

  • the fear of what others think of me

  • the fear of uncertainty

  • the fear of guilt...

What would you add here? We can NOT put new habits in our life if we don't let go of the old ones. Just like you can't put new glasses in the cabinet if you don't get rid of the old ones first. We all experience fear of letting go. ALL OF US. It's the familiarity we are letting go of and EVERYTHING else feels uncertain. We do not like uncertainty. We like familiarity, EVEN if it's not good. That's how we get stuck. What if your new motto was, “Be afraid and do it anyway?” What would you do? Let’s do it. I am surrounding myself with people who believe in new things, in better habits, in more faith, in more success, in a better you... Find your people! And start believing that letting go is good. Ah, how good it feels to let the weight go. Only then will you have space to let in some more positive, life giving thought, beliefs, habits and routines. Need help? Message me.

PS: Message me for a free consult to start moving toward a more fearless you.

You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
