Tuesday thoughts And a Poem For My Expecting Daughter

Hi Friends,

Today I want to share a poem I was inspired to write to my daughter who is expecting her first baby. (The picture above is just a google picture.) It was the morning of her baby shower and these thoughts came to me and I knew I needed to write them down. If you are a mother, you will totally resonate with this. One reader even said she was moved to tears.

Maybe this poem will open your creativity because we are all made in the image of our Creator, and we all have a deep desire to create. Don't downplay that moment of inspiration. Listen to it and follow it. I sat down at my desk and started writing. I am the kind of person who can never find a card I like, so I make my own sometimes.

It is hard not to hope that she will treasure this because I would give the world if I had a poem from my mom. She passed when I was a little 6 year old girl. If she were alive today, she would be 95 years old. Somehow, I believe she can see her grandchildren and even her great grandchild. However, inspiration and gifting that inspiration should happen without an expectation of return. May you find it inspiring and let your own creative juices open up and flow through you.
