Tuesday Thoughts and Some Inspiration

Hi Friends,

I trust you got some inspiration from last week's writing about embracing change.

Today, let's get inspired by some diverse quotes that spoke to me. They are not my original quotes, I collect them. The following are from Chris who goes by @supramanwho on Instagram.

Why quotes?

Life can be challenging and unpredictable, but finding inspiration in the form of quotes can provide guidance and motivation to keep pushing forward. In this blog, we will explore a collection of inspirational quotes that can help you navigate life's ups and downs, and remind you of the power of positivity and perseverance. Whether you're seeking encouragement, motivation, or simply a dose of inspiration, these quotes are sure to uplift your spirits and remind you of the beauty and resilience of the human spirit. Join me on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

1) People aren't against you they are for themselves.

This quote means that people's actions and decisions are often driven by their own self-interest and personal motivations, rather than being intentionally against or opposed to you. It suggests that individuals prioritize their own needs and goals, which may sometimes conflict with your own interests. It serves as a reminder to not take things personally and to understand that people are primarily looking out for themselves. I seem to be a really slow learner concerning this one :)

2) Climb mountains not so that the world can see you, but so that you can see the world.

This quote emphasizes the idea of personal growth and self-discovery through challenging experiences. It suggests that the purpose of overcoming obstacles and achieving goals should not be for external validation or recognition from others, but rather for the opportunity to gain new perspectives and insights on the world around us. By pushing ourselves to climb metaphorical mountains, we are able to expand our own understanding and appreciation of the world.

3) You learn more from failure than from success.

This quote says that failure can teach valuable lessons and provide opportunities for growth and improvement, while success may not always provide the same level of insight or learning experiences. Failure forces individuals to reflect on what went wrong and how they can do better next time, ultimately leading to greater personal and professional development. It really builds character which is something no one can take away from you.

4) The most dangerous risk of all is the risk of spending your life not doing what you want.

This quote suggests that the biggest risk one can take in life is not pursuing their own desires and dreams. By living a life that is not true to oneself, one may miss out on opportunities for personal growth and fulfillment. It emphasizes the importance of taking risks and following one's passions in order to live a meaningful and authentic life. And those passions are intrinsic, they are yours, they were given to you for a reason.

5) Go where you are celebrated, not where you are tolerated.

This quote suggests that you should spend your time and energy in places where you're appreciated, valued, and respected, rather than staying in environments where you're merely accepted or put up with. It encourages people to seek out relationships, workplaces, and communities that uplift and support them, rather than settling for situations where they feel unappreciated or undervalued. And those are huge decisions and tough lessons to learn.

If you are ready for a change and you feel compelled to make a choice regarding any area in your life, write to me and we will set up a free call, where you tell me what you are dealing with and we see if we are a good fit for each other. I am very good at helping you shift your perception and reframe things, and I help you with triggers and the people who trigger you.
