Hi Friends, What did you implement last week? Look at the above picture. I wanted to find a muddy looking river. Why? Because we are talking about the muddy, messy middle. This past week truly felt like I was wading through a muddy river. I was worried. Worried about the future. Worried about some kids of mine. Worried about my relationship with them. Worried about their future. Worried about their present. Worried about my brother who is still in the psychiatric hospital. (Hopefully released soon.) Worried about people thinking that I'm always positive. I know what the messy middle feels like. When we go through something and we decide to tackle that problem; that middle part often looks messy. The messy middle. It's no fun. It doesn't feel good. And yet we all go through it. So, here's to going through the messy middle... one step at a time. Thank God I live near a beautiful beach to walk and process those messy feelings. And thank God for the "call a friend" option. Truly grateful for friends who are there with me in the messy middle.
