Hi friends,
how are you?
What do you think of when you look at the above picture?
I see resilience.
Webster defines resilience like this:
An ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change
This tree certainly adjusted.
We are all forced to adjust at this moment during covid 19.
How well are you adjusting?
No judgement here, just realistic assessment.
If you follow me on my FB lives you know that I'm pretty calm and grounded , most of the time. But I did feel afraid last Friday, as I walked into a grocery store. It was like, it hit me, and I felt the fear in my stomach.
I allowed it fully, because I know when I resist it it persists.
Also, I have the privilege of a coach friend to talk things through.
If you have ever wondered if you needed a coach, then this is your time.
It's like having an I phone. You didn't know how much you needed it until you had one :)

Back to resilience.
This tree might not look pretty, put together, perfect, or normal, but it made it and is alive and is living its purpose in providing us with oxygen and shade.
Despite of the challenging circumstances, or rather because of them.
Do you know people who have been through heck and are the nicest, most loving people on the planet? Why is that?
I think I know.
Because they have learned to appreciate everything. Nothing is taken for granted. And little things just don't bother them as much.
May we all come out of covid 19 with having 10 xed our appreciation.
This is truer then ever
"Exchange your expectation with appreciation and your world will change."
Tony Robbins
