Hi friends,
how are you?
Amidst all the struggles you find yourself in, do you say:
"If only so and so did this... then I would feel better."
Let me present you a new perspective:
Everyone is doing the best they can.
Do you believe this?
What would change in you if you did ?
I want to believe it. Yes, I believe it's true.
The following is also true:
Sometimes people’s best is not very good.
Sometimes it’s really bad. .
But it’s still the best they were capable of in that moment.
Believing this allows me to shift from feeling frustrated and angry, to feeling compassionate and empathetic.
These feelings can be gifts you give to yourself.
And for the times when I'm unable to get to compassion and empathy, I can learn to apply the same thought to myself. That my action was the best I was capable of at that moment.
Sometimes my best is pretty awful.
But feeling awful about my action just makes it worse.
Can we be kind to ourselves?
When I am kind to myself I create room to get curious. And from there I can move on and apply tools to do better next time.
Less judgement and more understanding. Sounds good?
PS: Message me for a free consult to start shifting from frustration to compassion.
You are loved. Deeply loved. Loved beyond measure.
